Before you Start:
- Review the material found in the Info tab, read the Course Outline, and the peruse the QuikStart Guide. Familiarize yourself with the important dates, course weightings, plagiarism policy, and my contact info!
- BEFORE beginning the course content:
- Watch the introductory video and plagiarism video, located under the INFO tab.
- Complete the course introduction lesson and assignment. (under the FOUNDATIONS tab)
- Complete the mandatory course review lesson and write the review quiz. (under the FOUNDATIONS tab)

Course Overview:
Students will examine historical and contemporary understandings of nationalism in Canada and the world. They will explore the origins of nationalism as well as the impacts of nationalism on individuals and communities in Canada and other locations. Examples of nationalism, ultranationalism, supranationalism and internationalism will be examined from multiple perspectives. Students will develop personal and civic responses to emergent issues related to nationalism. -
