How to access Zoom

Zoom is an interactive program that will allow you to talk to your teacher and classmates and to interact and learn in a way similar to a classroom. If your teacher has regular help or tutorial sessions, you will be informed and provided with a classroom link.

The first time that you try to access Zoom on your computer, you will be required to download it.

First time access:

1. Click on zoom in the course. You will get the zoom installer screen.

2. Click on the zoomistaller at the bottom.(See below).

3. Click continue

4. You then get the join meeting, sign in screen (see below). Do not click on either. Leave this window open and go back to course.

Now go back to the course and click on zoom again

5. You will get the open zoom.us image. Click on Open zoom.us (See below).

6. Enter your name and click join.

Now you are in and you can start zooming.

The screen shot below is an example of how zoom can be used to teach math. The student can interact with the teacher in zoom.
