Unit One Project

Select a presentation style of your choice:
- Power Point
- Video
- Essay or journal
- Prezi
- Word Document

Your presentation must include photos or pictures or visual representations.

Include five of the following areas:

1) Physical Health, including eating, exercise, sleep etc.
2) Mental Health
3) Emotional Health
4) Dating and Relationship Health
5) Technological Use Health
6) Educational Health
7) Sexual Health (Optional)

Required Content:
  • Select each area of health and identify what GOOD health is in that area.
  • Identify at least three barriers to good health in the selected area and how to overcome them.
  • Identify at least three impacts to overall health of either neglecting or supporting a healthy lifestyle in that area.
  • List at least three different ways to support a healthy lifestyle in that area.
  • Use personal examples (optional).
  • Include evidence of having read the lessons and visited the websites included in this unit.

The project should be a minimum of 1000 words.
A video or speech requires a transcript.

This project will be graded using the rubric included in the information section.  The project must be detailed and include a bibliography.

Citing a web page with a group author:

Group Name. (Year, Month Date published). Title of web page. Site Name included if different from Group Name. URL
