Macbeth Resources

Here are several extra resources which may help you to better understand the play.  They are optional, but highly recommended.  

Begin by watching this 9 minute summary of the play; it will help you make sense of the scenes if you have this plot-sketch in your mind first.

There are many film adaptations of Macbeth, and the 2015 version with Michael Fassbender is particularly faithful to the play; you will probably enjoy it best, if you find access to it (It is not on Netflix, it is on Prime Vide, Shaw on Demand).  There is a 1979 Version starring Ian McKellen (Gandalf) which might interest you, found on youtube.
