Thesis Assignment

Read through the power point presentation on thesis writing.  Your assignment is to write a thesis statement for three of the topics provided.  This assignment is designed to help you practice your thesis writing skills.  When you have finished writing them, you will submit them.  I will edit each thesis and give you feedback that will help you rewrite your statements so they are more assertive and concise if needed.  One of these statements will become the thesis of your Macbeth essay.

Thesis development is the foundation for essay writing.  If an essay doesn't have a strong thesis statement then the essay content isn’t supporting anything and writers will generally end up summarizing the plot.
