How are relationships among pressure, volume, temperature, and amount of gas used in some common technologies?

 

Your unit assessment will require you to write an explanation of how one or more of these relationships is applied in the function and operation of a technology.

 

In each of the four lessons within this unit, descriptions of technologies are located in the Reflect and Connect and Reflect on the Big Picture sections. Select one of the technologies introduced in these sections and use the description to develop your response.

 

Your success in completing this assessment will depend on your ability to identify clearly the aspects of the technology that relate to the gas laws and the variables within each relationship.

 

If you have completed responses to more than one of the descriptions of a technology, select the response that demonstrates your best work.  If you wish to revise and improve the response, do so now.  Submit your best response to your teacher for assessment.
