In this Lesson you will watch a video about composition. By the end of the Lesson - you will have a strong understanding of why you are asked to create thumbnail sketches to plan your composition before you begin a finished drawing or painting.

2. Assignment
Answer the following questions in a document which you submit, or directly in the drop box if you prefer (quicker).
1. Name the 8 Principals of design discussed in the video.
2. Define, in your own words, composition in visual art.
