Remember: this position paper is "optional" (will not be entered as a zero) but it can be used as a replacement grade for your previous position paper if you do better.

You may choose to use one of the following sources, pick the COVID-19 one if you're into the NOW of it all. Pick the other one if you just want a distraction from the trash fire that is 2020.

Option 1:

COVID-19 is obviously a global problem so it requires a global solution. Nations must work together, pooling resources and ideas, in order to solve the pandemic as quickly as possible. All countries should have some of the vaccine available to them immediately, this should not be another example of the haves and have-nots.

Option 2:

Nations who sacrifice sovereignty for cooperation are dooming their citizens for mediocrity. When a country "works together" with other countries, there is always a winner and a loser. Citizens deserve what their country can provide, no one wants to see their nation's resources given to another country.
