Introduction

The Agricultural, Scientific and Industrial Revolutions changed the very fabric of people's lives. Great masses moved from small feudal villages to growing industrial cities. As they moved, the nature of their lives changed as well. In this unit, we will examine the ways that lives changed; sometimes for the better and sometimes for the worse. In some ways, the challenges of the Industrial Revolution still exist in today's society.
