1. COUNTRY OF ORIGIN PROJECT

Final project to be presented in ONE power point format (8-12 slides).  Do NOT submit multiple files.

Part I - Research

In this project, you will explore one of the countries of your origin (where your ancestors originated) and make a 8-12 page Powerpoint presentation (no longer). 

You can NOT choose Canada unless you are First Nations.

Choose a country/culture of origin to research and then use the following Criteria Guideline of information that you must include.

Part II - Organize (Planning Template)

Enter your information into the following planning template.  This will help you organize your project.

Part III - Power point presentation

Present your information in a Powerpoint or prezi.
Include 
maps, graphics, and/or charts  in your finished project. Be sure to expound upon these graphics by including informative text  beneath the graphics and/or maps.

Part IV - Final Analysis

Conclude your project with 1-2 paragraphs comparing life in your country of origin to life in Canada. Discuss specific similarities, differences and identify which country you would prefer to live in; then, using examples, explain why.

Part V - Before Submission

NOTE: a comprehensive, fully developed project which covers as many of the factors above as possible is expected.

Be sure to include a properly formatted bibliography attached to the finished project.
