 Testing for Macromolecules

In this lab, you will conduct tests on a number of food substances to determine the presence of starch, sugar, protein, and lipids. The procedures for these tests can be found on pages 212 to 213 of your textbook. It is a good idea to review the procedures in your textbook before conducting this lab because you will be asked to write a procedure in your assignments.

  1. Open and print the lab activity sheet. If you do not have access to a printer, use the Word or Google document.
