Objetivos

After completing this lesson you will be able to:
  • compare the Canadian and Mexican food guides, and
  • use the impersonal 鈥渟e鈥 to make recommendations.

Food nourishes us and protects us from sickness; we feel like we are a part of a community, a community that shares information and preferences.  Eating healthy food can protect us, but eating can also make us sick if we don't pay attention to what, how much and why we eat. For this reason, both the Canadian and the Mexican governments have food guides to help us make good decisions at mealtime.
