  1. According to the University of British Columbia's Digital Tattoo site, "Just like a tattoo, your digital reputation is an expression of yourself. It is formed and added to by you and others over time." What does your digital tattoo look like at the moment? Find out by searching your own name with Google and Pipl. What do you find?

  2. Can you predict the top terms that would appear if you created a word cloud of your Twitter, Facebook, blog, or other website or social networking site affiliated with you? Go to Tagxedo or Wordle and try it out. What does the word cloud reflect about your digital reputation and footprint? 3. Try the Life Online Mirror personality project. See your online reflection (16+).

  4. If you discovered things you don't like, go through your posts and your pages to make the changes you can. As you move forward, keep in mind what kind of digital tattoo you want to wear, and create it!
