Canada has a Fair Dealing policy that excludes media users from copyright infringement if they meet specific criteria (such as educational use, non-commercial use, limited distribution, etc.). However, for this course, it is preferable that you do not use media under the Fair Dealing exemption. Instead, use copyright-free images, provide attribution for images, or obtain permission to use copyrighted images.

The aim of Wikimedia Commons is to provide a central repository for public domain material. All the images included in Wikipedia are available automatically here too. Finding images to represent virtually any subject is easy at Wiki Commons. Everything is offered using a Creative Commons Attribution/Share-Alike license.
