Unit 2 - Energy Transfer Technologies

What is This Unit about?   

In this unit, you will

  • study energy and the technologies that have been developed to deal with energy transfer
  • learn about heat
  • discover that heat and temperature are different
  • learn how heat transfer is controlled to suit our needs
  • learn about simple machines used to transfer energy

Read the introduction to Chapter 5 on page 80. 

Then, read What You Will Learn, Why it is Important, and Skills You Will Use on page 81.
