Unit 3 Self-Reflection Journal

Now that you have completed Unit 3 ~ Cultural Attractions, it's time to connect your new-found knowledge with your real life.

In this unit, you should have discovered:

various visitor activities at various cultural attractions

This reflection will be graded out of 10 marks. Be sure to answer every question as it pertains to your personal experience.

The combined grades in all 5 self reflections will be worth 10% towards the final course grade.

Think of a personal cultural attraction you have visited in the past. Alternatively, think of a future cultural attraction you want to visit.

Write a journal entry about this cultural attraction based on your personal experience. Include the following in your journal:

Why did you choose this cultural attraction?
Do you have any personal heritage connection to this cultural attraction?
Did you sample any cultural food at this attraction?
What cultural activities did you partake in?
Did the attraction give you a better understanding of the culture?
Did you feel it was an AUTHENTIC experience to the culture? Or did it feel more "Hollywood?"
Would you recommend it to a friend?
Would you travel to this cultural attraction again?
