Now that you have completed Unit 4 ~ Recreational Attractions, it's time to connect your new-found knowledge with your real life.
In this unit, you should have discovered:
- what is a recreational attraction?
- multiple Alberta Recreational attractions
- Alberta visitor trends of recreational attraction

Think of a personal recreational attraction you have visited in the past. Alternatively, think of a future recreational attraction you want to visit.
Write a journal entry about this recreational attraction based on your personal experience. Include the following in your journal:
- Why did you choose this recreational attraction?
- What recreational activities did you experience at this attraction?
- Has this recreational attraction had any POSITIVE impacts to the region?
- What NEGATIVE impacts has this attraction brought to the region?
- Was the local culture integrated into the attraction?
- If so, was that a positive or negative addition?
- What is the environmental impact of the attraction?
- Would you recommend it to a friend?
- Would you travel to this attraction again?
