Gooey Gunk
Ingredients
Solution A
- 250 mL (1 cup) water
- 250 mL (1 cup) white glue
- 30 mL (2 tablespoons) liquid tempera paint or 7–10 drops food colouring
Solution B
- 325 mL (1 cups) warm water
- 20 mL (4 teaspoons) laundry booster, such as Borax
Instructions
- Mix ingredients in Solution A together in a medium bowl.
- In a second medium bowl, mix the ingredients in Solution B together until the laundry booster is completely dissolved.
- Slowly pour Solution A into Solution B. Do not mix!
- Roll Solution A around in Solution B 4–5 times.
- Lift Solution A out of Solution B and knead for 2–3 minutes.
- Store the gooey gunk in an airtight container or zipper-lock bag.
Tips and Ideas
- Use liquid tempera pain in different colours to create, for example, green slime, red lava, or black tar.
