Project 1 Exercises

 

Practise the following keys until you feel comfortable with their location. Once you feel comfortable, move on to other keys and master them.

 

Exercise 1: Tab and Enter Key on the Alphanumeric Keypad

 

Set left tabs at 1, 2, and 3 inches on your ruler and do the following exercise. Type the text using the Tab key to move across the row horizontally, and use the Enter key to move to the next line.

Exercise 2: Alphanumeric Keypad Including the Enter Key

 

Type each of the following sentences. Correct your errors as you type. Press the Enter key twice at the end of each sentence.

 

 

Ask a question about whatever comes through the back door.

 

You will find it is both a puzzle and a joke.

 

The trucking company has billed us for hauling material to the wrong site.

 

Will their bookkeeper straighten this out for us?

 

The jackrabbit was half brown by mid April.

 

The wood tick is most commonly found on plants that are not trees!

 

His mother said, “Be sure to dry your hands well, especially between your fingers.”

 

She wore her gold earrings (she did look better in the blue ones) with her new dress.
