Module 5: Angles

 

SC 8. All are complementary angles. It is given that ∠c has a measure of 60° and ∠d has a measure of 30°, which add up to 90°. Therefore, the angles are complementary in each case.

 

However, the circled complementary angles are not adjacent because they do not have a ray in common.

 

The top left diagram is not circled. The top right diagram shows angles d and c beside each other with parallel arms but not touching and is circled. The bottom left diagram shows angles d and c arranged in different orientations beside each other and is circled. The bottom right diagram is not circled.
