In Mathematics 30-3 you were encouraged to discover and explore mathematical concepts to help develop your own knowledge in mathematics. As you worked through the course, you were asked to make connections between mathematics and different contexts. You may be able to identify many of these different contexts in the collage.
You looked at how probability can be used to make better decisions in Module 1, and how mathematics can be used to build strategies for success in games and finance in Module 2. You looked at how different situations can be modelled by linear relations in Module 3, and how statistics can be used to make informed decisions in the workplace in Module 4. You looked at how geometry can be used in building and design in Module 5, and at how confident you can be with various measurements and tools in Module 6.
You worked through concepts related to the general outcomes of measurement, geometry, number, algebra, and statistics and probability. You explored different ways to solve problems involving the concepts studied. You used different mathematical processes, such as communication, connections, mental mathematics, estimation, problem solving, reasoning, technology, and visualization, to work your way through the course.
Congratulations! You have completed Mathematics 30-3 Learn EveryWare!
