Here are some tips for preparing for your diploma exam:Bozeman Science channel on Youtube - so many great videos on bio 30 topics. You can go to his channel and search for whatever you need to review. - https://www.youtube.com/
channel/UCEik- U3T6u6JA0XiHLbNbOw Active studying - Please make sure you are actively studying and not passively studying. You will retain information much better if you actively study. An example of passively studying is reading your textbook. Some actively studying examples are taking notes, making flashcards, teaching someone, watching videos, making web diagrams, making up acronyms, making up a song, doing practice questions, etc. Not all of these methods will work the best for all of you. Choose which ones you think will work (or you have used in the past) and use those while studying. Here is a link with some other ideas: https://learningcenter.unc.edu/tips-and-tools/studying- 101-study-smarter-not-harder/ Mutliple choice exam writing:Please take a look at the link below, which outlines some strategies for taking multiple choice exams. If you would like your exam printed out instead of writing it online then let me know. If it's printed out then you can underline important information, cross out answers you know are wrong, do calculations beside the questions, etc. Here is some important info and diploma practice questions:- Here are the formula sheets that will be provided for you with your diploma exam: https://education.alberta.ca/

- The Key book for Biology 30 -- It is a book with lots of diploma
practice questions, as well as overview notes for each unit. The best
thing about this book is that it doesn't just give you the answer but
explains why it is the best answer to choose. I would highly recommend
that you get one if you can. Working through this book will greatly
benefit you on your diploma
exam. It can also
help during the course and on your midterm exam. You usually can get
them at Amazon.ca or Chapters.
