Welcome to Health 9.
In this course you will engage in activities in the areas of personal health, safety and responsibility, understanding and accepting feelings, interactions, and group roles. As you do the activities, you will be doing research, making presentations, posting to forums and doing reports. 100% of your mark comes from your assignments and participation in your Forum postings, etc. There are no tests/quizzes in this couse unless they are part of an assignment. There is NO FINAL EXAM IN THIS COURSE.
As you complete an activity, you will be able to click on the COMPLETION box beside the activity to show it is completed OR it will check it for you if it is pre-set in the course. In this way, you will be able to keep track of your progress.
The due dates are set so that students have 2 weeks to complete an assignment in Unit 1 and Unit 5. After the first unit the due dates are set at one assignment per week for Units 2-3-4. You are free to complete the assignments at your own pace, but try to stay ahead of the due dates, if possible.
