Getting to Know You Map

Hello all! Welcome again to our English 30-1 course! Before we dive in, I want to take a chance for all of us to get to know one another!

For your very first task you will create a mini "All About Me Map." To do this, you may choose any format you fancy. This means that you can create a physical map with paper, markers, images, sparkles, hot glue, and more! Or, you can create an online map using a Google Docs, or any free map generators that are available to your online. However, if you choose a map generator online, you will need to make sure that you can save it to post it in the "Discussion Board." ALL formats must be submitted to the Discussion Board. Please title your post with you first and last name. 

Some pieces to include on your map are: 

• Name (can include full if you like)
• Where you live and where you've previously lived if you've moved around
• Where you feel most at home
• Your favorite story (it can be in any format: book, movie, song, play, etc.) Why is it your favorite story?
• Something you love to do (think hobbies)
• Special people in your life (family members, friends, spouses)
• What you think you might want to do after completing high school (perhaps travelling, more school, working)
• Anything else you might want to share! Talents you may have or interesting facts about yourself!
