Identify 10 Tourism Occupations

- Download the fillable-pdf form to identify 10 Occupations in the Tourism Sector using this link TOU1010 Final Project Part 2: Identify 10 Tourism Occupations.
- Page 1 of the document shows a sample breakdown (Identify 2 occupations for each of the 5 industries).
- Page 2 of the document shows the fillable-pdf form portion for you to complete.
- You can complete this form multiple ways, your choice.
- Use a pdf viewer and enter your responses into your computer, save and submit.
- Print the document, handwrite your responses, scan, submit.
- A different option that demonstrates your learning.
- Fill 10 Occupations into the form (worth 10 marks towards the Final Project Part 2 Assessment).
- Ensure it meets the ADLC academic standards.
- Upload your completed TOU1010 Final Project Part 2: Identify 10 Tourism Occupations in the Submission space (below).
- Click the "Submit" button so the teacher can view and grade it.
- Proceed to Step B using the tabs above.
STEP B:
Tourism Career Investigation

- Using the 10 Tourism Occupations you identified in STEP A as your guide, select TWO of the Tourism Occupations.
- STEP B: Tourism Career Investigation is where you will thoroughly research two specific tourism occupations.
- There are many resources and people available who can help you explore these two tourism occupations. You can talk to teachers, guidance counsellors, career advisors, friends, family, or neighbours that work in the tourism sector. If you do not know someone who works in the tourism sector, stop in a related tourism sector business and conduct a quick interview or search for job info on the internet.
- Include the following data:
- Job Title (10 marks)
- 2-3 line summary of duties (10 marks)
- Identify which of the 5 tourism Industry this job is associated with (10 marks)
- Average yearly salary (10 marks
- Average hourly wage (10 marks)
- Minimum education requirement (10 marks)
- Submit 3 Job Postings for this job / career currently available within Alberta (30 marks)

- Spreadsheet
