Final Project
Completion requirements
Every student is unique, so let's use this assessment to celebrate individuality and diversity rather than making all students conform to one-size fits all! You will have choice in your project work!
It is your job to demonstrate your learning. You may choose any of the optional methods to do this, but all responses must address the guiding project assignment requirements. Exactly how you choose to do this is up to you. You may choose to do a poster style if you wish, and submit it as an uploaded document. All types of work must include at least two images and more is welcome. Just remember that your submission must end up being only one document so images must be pasted into your document. If you need assistance to upload and submit your work, please review the "Help" videos under your Moodle Resources Tab on the top navigation bar.
For this Final Project assessment, you will have the opportunity to build your own travel experience. How this is done is where the fun begins. Final Project Guidelines
Take a look through the six tabs below to see the options students can choose from. Select the method that you personally feel allows you to best demonstrate your learning in this course using your personal skills and interest.
This step is IMPORTANT! Contact your Tourism teacher to discuss the Final Project and the expectations. It is worth the majority of your mark in the course so it is imperative you understand the expectations.
You can find your teacher's email address and phone number in the My Teacher icon at the top right of each course content page.

- Draw up a sketch or blueprint plan for the Final Project idea.
- Pitch the display design to the teacher if you wish
- Be open to modification in the design working collaboratively with the teacher
- Get started creating the Final Project
- Be creative! Have fun!
- Take the project from concept to completion
- Ensure it meets the ADLC academic standards
- Here's where it gets tricky. How do you submit this?
- There are 2 choices:
First option: take multiple photos your physical display Final Project. Place them in a Powerpoint or Google Slides file with descriptions for each picture. Upload this Final Project file in the Submission space below. Click the Submit button so the teacher can view and grade it.
Second option: drop the physical display project off at the Barrhead ADLC campus. IMPORTANT TO KNOW: If you choose this method please know the physical display project will become the property of ADLC (mostly so your teacher can brag to all the ADLC about how AMAZING your work is!!) and it will not be returned to you. In the Final Project file Submission space below, indicate in the Student Feedback section where you have left the physical display Final Project. Click the Submit button so the teacher can know the delivery details, wait for your physical display project, view it, and grade it.
