You have looked at three verbs that can be used to mean “to be” in different contexts. For Writing Assignment 2.1, you have to create a guide for yourself on how to use the three verbs. You also have to add information as to how to use the verb "gustar".

Copy and paste the chart provided here in a Word document (or create your own) with the different ways we use "ser", "estar" and "tener" to mean "to be". Show at least two examples for each.

When to use "ser": When to use "estar": When to use "tener":

Then, similar to the examples you have seen in this unit, you need to write a paragraph about yourself and one other person / group in Spanish.
You have to use all the verbs (ser, estar, and tener) at least twice for each person.  You also need to use the verb "gustar" to talk about your likes and dislikes twice or more times. You need to use the verb "gustar" once in the form  "gusta" and once in the form "gustan" at least one time.  You can talk about the food, sports, games, etc; you like.

For example: Yo soy baja y curiosa.
