You have made it to the end! Good for you! Now, it is time for you to chat with your teacher about how you feel about your course experiences and the skills and knowledge you have gained that will help you in your future courses.
Have you checked your Grades in SIS and/or Moodle? If there are any missing grades, please go back and complete these before you phone me! We cannot discuss your skills and abilities if the work is incomplete.

The Assignment
Step 1: Review the assignments you have completed and the feedback on your assignments. Make notes about specific areas where you have improved throughout your experiences in the course.
Remind yourself of your goal from Unit 1 (review your 3.6 Exit Interview responses).
Remind yourself of your goal from Unit 1 (review your 3.6 Exit Interview responses).
Step 2: Draft a quick response to the following questions, referring to your work and experience in the course:
- Select one assignment from Unit 2 or 3 where you successfully met your goal from Unit 1.
- Why were you effective in this assignment? Include the specific skills and knowledge you used to complete this assignment successfully.
What were some positive comments you received in this assignment?
For the same assignment, examine areas that you may have overlooked or neglected. What, specifically, could you have done better to enhance your content?
What are some specific resources and/or techniques that could help you improve in these areas in the future. What were some suggestions for improvement on this assignment? - As you move into English 20-1, whether working online or in a classroom, what is one specific βtake-awayβ you have? What is a skill you wish to continue developing in your next English class?
Step 3: With your notes in hand, contact your teacher to discuss your experiences in the course. If you cannot contact me directly, leave a voicemail asking me to call you back
to complete the exit interview. Leaving the exit interview as a
voicemail will not be accepted as the assignment. Alternatively, if you'd like to book an appointment, you can check out my upcoming calendar for 10-1 Oral Assignment slots (link in the Teacher icon in the upper right corner) or you can
email me a date/time that will work for you to call me.
Step 4: Review the study guide on the next page to help you prepare for Exam Two. This is a supervised exam requiring a password
from your exam supervisor. The exam is designed to be completed in 2.5 hours , but you may use 5 hours maximum if you wish and if your supervisor can accommodate the additional time. This extra time needs to be prearranged with your supervisor if he or she can accommodate the time.
