5.2 Film Review Forum Post

Your task for this assignment is to create your own forum post where you write a personal review for your chosen film. Explain your ideas. Tell others why you did or did not enjoy this film viewing experience. Your post needs to be at least four to five sentences long. Be honest, and know that it is fine to not have liked the film, but you must support your opinions with reasons. Conclude your post with your personal popcorn rating of the film: "I would give this film ___/5 kernels of popcorn." The instructions and my exemplar post can both be found on the next forum page.

You might want to create your writing outside of the forum, and save is so you have a safe copy and paste it into the Forum. When you are ready to post, select the Reply option of the last post, paste your response in or create your written response, and then select"Post to Forum!" Remember that longer text titles such as film titles should be italicized.

Know - that people respond differently to visual text and discussion of various perspectives is valuable
Understand - that film texts, as other extended texts, have meaningful themes that address essential questions in life and discussion of these is meaningful, and allows you to view the perspectives of others
Do - consider your own perspective, connect to and share with classmates in the online forum, present your perspectives, and become aware of the perspectives of others regarding a particular text
