Marking Guide:
This Theme Review is somewhat different from other reviews you have completed in English 10-4.
In this review, you will complete the final copy of your research report.
Do the following:
1. Write the final copy of your essay.
2. Review, using the questions below to guide you.
- Are your pages in order?
- Have you written neatly or typed using a font that is easy to read? Is your font size appropriate?
- Have you read the essay over one last time to look for errors?
- Have you used a spell checker and a grammar checker? Remember that they do not always catch errors, so be your own spell checker and grammar checker, too. Perhaps ask someone whose judgment you trust to read over your essay.
- Have you followed any instructions from your teacher about length of the essay, colour of ink, spacing, margins, etc.?
- Were you asked to have a title page?
- Have you saved a copy in case something happens to your original essay?
3. Review once again, using this Rubric your teacher will use to mark your essay.
