Final Project

Part A

For this assignment you are required to choose a product and research information as it relates to its channels of distribution (with the exception of frozen treats). Please note that your product would require extensive distribution and therefore you will need to do some research.  As such,  you need to keep track of your work cited.  Why did you choose this product? Explain your personal connection in regards to it.
For example.  J.R. came up with the idea of a frozen treat so individuals like his brother who had food sensitivities could also enjoy such a treat.

Part B

You will need to create a flow chart  similar to the one in the course with respect to the company’s distribution of your product. . All channels should be included, however in the event the company doesn’t use a channel, cross out on your flow chart. Please note that an explanation would be needed for its omission in your presentation.

Part C

Explain how the product (including at least three of its raw material(s) flows from the producer through the distribution channels through to the consumer. Be sure to include transportation methods used through these channels and their benefits.  Compare to one alternative method and describe why it isn't a feasible option.
