In this project, you will create a game based on what you have learned in the Planet Earth unit. You are required to submit this project to your teacher for marks. Very carefully, read the
whole project and how to do it. Be sure to read the requirements and rubric,
they explain the expectations for this project and how it will be

Situation
You know a Grade 7 Science teacher who has just finished teaching the “Planet Earth” unit to her students. The teacher wants you to design a game to help students review what they have learned in their unit.

Design a game based on the concepts and terms from this “Planet Earth” unit.
The design of the game should show imagination and creativity, and it should be an effective representation of the content of this unit. You do not have to build the game necessarily; your assignment is to design it. Of course, the best way to show your design may be to build it!

Method
Choose the way you would like to design your game. Your game should be fun, but it also must challenge the players with knowledge or skills that match the contents of this unit. Here are some suggestions:

Board game: Players move around a board and answer questions or perform tasks

Card game: Players use decks of cards to challenge each other based on the information found on the cards.

Jeopardy: A series of statements must be “answered” in the form of questions.

Video game: Your imagination is the only limit. Players can participate in RPG (role-playing games), first person adventures, resource gathering and crafting, or other game types.
- Use other creative ideas, but check with your teacher first!

Whatever your game idea is, it must have the following:

Four (4) categories named
- Earth’s Changing Crust
- Fossils in Rocks
- Drifting Continents
- Geologic History
You can have more categories if you wish, but these four are required.

At least forty (40) important questions or pieces of information from the unit (Each category listed above should have at least ten (10) important questions or pieces of information from the unit.)

Answers for every question

A label for each question of its category
- A description of your game, including:
- What the materials are needed for the game?
- What rules of the game must be followed?
- How does one win the game?
