Submission Checklist
Please review this Submission Checklist before submitting your assignment:
- If you have scanned your work, are all pages present, in order, and right side up?
- If you have scanned your work, is all work visible? (Nothing is cut off, hard to read, etc.)
- Is your file in a pdf or Word format? (No png, jpeg, or pages files)
- Did you name the file correctly? (For example: Lastname, Firstname, Course, Assignment Name)
- Is your assignment submitted for grading? (Submitted for grading versus Draft (not submitted).)
How to Scan Your Assignment
If your assignment is handwritten, you will need to scan your assignment and combine it into one file before submitting. If you have access to a scanner, use the scanner to scan your assignment. Name your assignment appropriately; last name, first name, course name, assignment name (i.e. ViolaAngelaBiology20SectionAssignment1),
If you do not have access to a scanner, use the SkillBuilder instructions to scan your assignment and combine it into one file. Available instructions include
- Using Docscan or Tinyscan to scan your work
- Using CamScanner to scan your work
- Combining jpegs into a pdf document
- Combining multiple pdf files into a single pdf file
How to Upload Your Assignment
To upload your assignment file
- Select Add submission and drag your pdf or Word file into the indicated area.
- Select Save changes. You will now see a draft submission.
- Select Submit assignment to complete the submission.
- Return to your course and continue where you left off.
How to Check Your Feedback
Once your assignment has been graded, you should view the feedback left by your teacher. To view your feedback.
- General comments can be viewed in the Grades section in Moodle as well as in your SIS Gradebook.
- Select the assignment and scroll down to feedback.
- Select View annotated pdf or download the attached feedback file.
- Contact your teacher if you have questions about your graded assignment.
