Lesson 9: Reflection
In this lesson, you looked at figurative language, audience, and intended messages in what you read, hear, and watch. For this reflection, please answer one of the following questions:
- Think about one of your favourite songs right now. Are the lyrics in the song literal or figurative. Explain your answer.
- Would you like there to be no ads on TV? Why or why not?
- Do you think you are easily persuaded to buy something after seeing or hearing an ad? Why or why not?
Write your reflection now.
- Spend
about 10 to 15 minutes writing if you can. Try your best to use proper
sentence structure, grammar, and punctuation, however, most of your
focus when writing your reflection should be on your ideas.
If you do not write your response in the space below, be sure to hand in what you do to your teacher to be graded. Write a note in the box to let your teacher know you have done this. Save and submit your note as if it were a quiz.
When you are ready, click the "Add submission" button below to begin your writing. Be sure to save your work as you go!
