Completion requirements
For this assignment, you will investigate some of the jobs available in your community that you are interested in. Use at least two of the following:

newspapers (either in print or online) (e.g., The Edmonton Journal, The Calgary Sun, etc.)

community newspapers available in the area that you live (e.g., The St. Albert Gazette, etc.)

community bulletin boards found in community centres, local businesses, schools, etc.

ALIS website

jobs that are advertised on a business website

job search engines such as: Workopolis.com,
Indeed.com, or
Monster.ca
List at least three jobs that you found that you would be interested in applying for, and tell the name of the employer, and where you found that opportunity (2 marks for each job for a total of 6 marks). Be sure to hand in your list to your teacher so it can be marked.
