Completion requirements
In this assignment, use what you have learned about plot, conflict, and setting to show how they apply to your novel.
Plot Summary A Plot Summary B
You may use a computer or paper to complete this assignment.
1. If you have chosen to complete Plot Summary A, you must print it off, complete it, and hand it in to your teacher so it
can be marked.
2. If you have chosen to complete Plot Summary B, you may either type your work into the document, save the document, and either send it to your teacher as an e-mail attachment or print it off and hand it in to your teacher so it can be marked.
Please do one of the following for completing the questions:
1.
You can type your work directly into the assignment box on the next
page by clicking the "Add submission" button under the orange box at the
bottom of this page.
2. If you typed your work in a separate Word document, save your document, and either send it to your teacher as an e-mail attachment or print it off and hand it in to your teacher so it can be marked. You can also attach your document within Moodle. To do this, click on the "Add submission" button below, and then click on "File submissions."
3. You can also choose to complete a hand-written assignment on a piece of paper. If so, please hand in your assignment to your teacher so it can be marked.

Do the following:
1. Choose one of the plot summaries and complete it for your novel. (If you choose Plot Summary A, you will need to print it off before completing it.) /10

2. Then answer these questions:
- The protagonist and antagonist in my novel are __________ and __________. /2
- The conflict in my novel is man versus _______________. /1
- Where and when is the story set? /2
- Write a sentence to explain whether or not the setting is important in your novel. Be sure to support your answer with specific reference to the story. /2
- Find one example of either flashbacks or foreshadowing in your novel. Support your answer with specific reference to the story. /1
