Lesson 1 — Activity 1: Assignment
Completion requirements
Now that you have taken some time to think about yourself, it is time to
share some things with your teacher and classmates.
Information for Assignment:
Now that you have taken some time to think about yourself, it is time to
share some things with your teacher and classmates.
This assignment allows you to share some things about yourself with the people around you. You should provide enough information about yourself so
that the people reading it will get some idea of who you are.
Using your web (from the activity on the previous page), write a description of yourself
for your classmates and teacher. You may use the information that you included on your web as well as some of the following
questions to guide your writing. You may also add other
information that you would like to share about yourself.
-
What is your name? Do you like your name? Does it have any special
meaning? Do you have a nickname? How did you get your nickname?
-
What are your main characteristics? How would you describe yourself (your personality, not necessarily your looks)?
-
What is your
background
—
the "story of your life" so far?
-
What are some of your goals, hopes, and dreams?
-
What do you really enjoy doing? Why?
-
Add any information that you want to include from your "web" that you completed in the previous Self-check Activity.
