Purikura booths are photo sticker booths that are normally found in video game centres. The booths are popular with girls and young couples.
For about $4 Canadian, you go into the booth with your friends and take a certain amount of photos.
When you come out, there is an area on the other side of the booth where you get to digitally decorate all the photos that you took. You can write on the photos, add props (like sunglasses, hats, etc.) and change the backgrounds to whatever design or scene you would like.
When you have finished decorating, the photos come out of the machine as a sheet of stickers. You can also have the photos sent digitally to your phone or e-mail.
