Assessment 3-1
Assessment 3-1
Animal Activity
When you walk around your neighbourhood, your school, or even your house, you should be well aware now of the evidence that surrounds you telling you who or what might have been there before you. Animals leave things behind that
suggest that they were there. Observations of tracks, and even hair or fur can give valuable information about the animal who left such items behind.
Look at the Evidence Chart on the Assessment 3-1 file and choose one of the photos on the Assessment 3-1 file to complete your observations.
- List the animal(s) involved.
- Make a hypothesis about what happened.
- Provide at least 2 different observations.
- Provide clear descriptions of what was observed.
- Provide 2 or 3 inferences that can be made based on your observations.
