Now that you have learned and practiced the weather expressions, you will do some research to find out more about the weather in other cities. It is important to know what the weather is like in other places so that in case you travel, you will be prepared.
- After you do your research and fill out the table, write a sentence with all of the information you have gathered.
In order to do your research, you will need to find the following information and fill in a table. This table will help you record your findings from your research.
PaÃs/Country Capital/Capital Fecha/Date El tiempo/Weather Oración/Sentence Cuba Colombia España Argentina
- Find the capital of the countries.
- Describe the weather in each capital.

Write two sentences in Spanish describing the weather and the date for each capital. (Try to use a variety of weather expressions and dates/seasons - avoid repetition.)
- Follow the example below:
Hoy es el tres de mayo en Caracas, Venezuela. Hace mal tiempo y está lloviendo. Formula: (date) (capital) (country) (weather)
