Step 6: Find a visual that symbolizes the character. Remember a symbol is a physical object, animal, or person that represents an abstract idea or belief.
If needed, review the tutorial on symbols.
- Save a copy of the image.
- Record (on the planning document) the website where you found the image, so you can give credit to the person who created it.
Step 7: Assemble your lyrics and images for your character in a creative way.
- You can choose the format for your final product. You can illustrate it by hand, and take a picture of it to send to your teacher. You can use a word processing program, or you can use any other digital format you wish. Here is a list of some options for applications you may want to use for this assignment.
Step 8: Write a short paragraph explaining your song and lyric choices as well as your symbol.
