How to Complete the Endangered Animal Template

• Think of an animal that is endangered in some way.
• Think of a what people are doing to protect this animal and its habitat.
• Open the Endangered Animal Template.
• Read the Endangered Animal Rubric to guide your work.
• Create your entry in paragraph or questions/answer format.
• Include information about the animal, the problem, and the solution that people are working on.
• Submit your Endangered Animal entry to your teacher.
• You can print your entry if you like.

Do you have a favourite animal? Is it endangered, or is it a survivor?

• If it is endangered - why? What is causing your animal to be in trouble?
• If it is not endangered, why? What does your animal have or do that enables it to be a survivor?

Use your answers to these questions to create your new Endangered Animal entry.

How to save a file:

1. Have the file open and select Save As from the File menu.
2. Name your Endangered Animal Entry file in this format: jsmith_endangeredanimalentry and save the file to your Documents folder.

Throughout the unit, you learned and practiced new concepts and presentation formats. Now it's time to demonstrate or "sum up" your understanding of that information by submitting this assignment for a mark.
