Completion requirements
Now that you have completed the Self-check activity on slang words, think about other slang words that you know and may use.
a. She thinks the food is delicious.
b. She doesn't like it one bit.
c. The food is making her queasy.
1. You can type your work directly into the assignment box on the next
page by clicking the "add submission" button under the orange box at the
bottom of this page.
2. If you typed your work in a separate Word document, save your document, and either send it to your teacher as an e-mail attachment or print it off and hand it in to your teacher so it can be marked.
3. You can also choose to complete a hand-written assignment on a piece of paper. If so, please hand in your assignment to your teacher so it can be marked.

Now that you have completed the Self-check activity on slang words, think about other slang words that you know and may use.
In this assignment, design a short multiple-choice quiz of five questions for your teacher or another adult to take. You may use the same design as the Self-check quiz.
Here's an example to follow:
- Write a sentence with the slang word or phrase in it: Jan tasted the dinner and then said, "It's sick!"
- Write this sentence: This means:
- Write the answers that your teacher or another adult can choose from, like this:
a. She thinks the food is delicious.
b. She doesn't like it one bit.
c. The food is making her queasy.
- You can have 2 or 3 choices.
- Don't forget to write down the correct answer, as you will mark the quiz.
