Completion requirements
1. You can type your work directly into the assignment box on the next page by clicking the "add submission" button under the orange box at the bottom of this page.
2. If you typed your work in a separate Word document, save your document, and either send it to your teacher as an e-mail attachment or print it off and hand it in to your teacher so it can be marked.

In this assignment, design a genre poster for a specific genre you are interested in learning more about. You can choose from the genres you learned about in fictional narratives, nonfiction narratives, or non-narrative text forms.
Do some research online or in the library to discover book titles and authors that fall under the genre you choose. Click here for further information on identifying genres in the library.
Include the following:
- the genre you are interested in exploring /1
- characteristics of the genre /2
- popular or well-written titles in the genre /2
- popular or well-known authors of the genre /2
- titles that you plan to read: you may include images of these titles or draw the book covers yourself /3

You may use a computer or paper to complete this assignment.
When you are done, review for spelling and punctuation.
