CHOICE #1

The narrator in the story, "The Amazing Sense of Shake" says, β€œThe best part is the knowing.  Just knowing that at any moment there could be a little piece of the extraordinary caught up in the most ordinary of days."  Think of a day where you experienced something extraordinary that forever impacted your identity, and share that experience in the form of your own story. When writing your short story, be sure to include all essential elements of a short story. (refer to Unit One, Review for resource notes). Write your story in a Word document. At the end of your story, include a one paragraph response to the question, "What inspired you to write this selection"?

β€œFootprints in the Snow" Poem, by

From the poem, "Footprints in the Snow", select one stanza you consider to be very visual and explain why this stanza stands out to you. Using power point, prezi or multimedia of your choice, create a visual representation of this stanza. Along with your visual presentation, include a written portion of approximately three paragraphs that explains your visual's significance to identity.  In your explanation, be sure to identify elements of poetry that are used in the poem and explain what makes their use effective.
