ASSIGNMENT (100 marks)
Open a new Word document. Label it E201U4L2surname
In this document, create the good copy of your brochure as outlined below.

Submit this assignment using the Dropbox for U4L2 brochure

  • Imagine that Lavery, after his plane crash, and eye-opening adventure with Konala, decides to give up flying, and instead starts a company which promotes the North as a vacation destination. Create the brochure that his company would use to entice people to head North.
  • Choose one town, city, or area in Canada's North to promote. Remember that you are trying to convince people who might head to BC, other parts of Canada, or to the United States for a holiday, that they should be considering the North, instead. You must be as persuasive as possible!
  • Determine your audience! Who do you want to visit? Twenty-somethings interested in extreme sports? Families with young children? The Senior crowd?
  • Research your chosen area on the Internet, in an atlas, and/or in other sources available to you. In addition to being persuasive, your brochure should also contain informative and specific details about your chosen destination. Keep in mind that Lavery has grown passionate about the North, and your brochure should reflect that passion.

When choosing clip art for your brochure, use either photos or clip art exclusively. Do not mix the two, as that will destroy the unity of your brochure.
All brochures are double-sided, which means that yours must be as well.  Your finished brochure will be two pages long in Word.
