Conclusion
Students have explored historical globalization in Canada by examining the fur trade, European immigration, assimilation, the Indian Act, residential schools, treaties and land claims issues to name a few. Students will analyze how people responded to historical globalization by examining the situation of Rwanda, Apartheid, Japanese Internment, the Indian Act and consider their role in the current set of circumstances.
