3. In order to answer the next question, re-read the opinions expressed on page 284 and think back
to previous lessons. Can the difference between access to clean water for Aboriginal people in Canada and the general Canadian population be attributed in some ways to historical globalization? Support your answer using specific historical events
or data.
4. Read the cartoon on page 284 and explain the message Jeff Parker, the cartoonist, is trying to convey. Support it with reference to the cartoon.
5. What is trade liberalization? Include
an example in your explanation.
6. What is privatization? Include an example in your answer.
7. What is your opinion regarding the privatization of water? Defend your positions with evidence.
