There are no perfect conditions for all plants. Each plant has adaptations to survive under different conditions. All plants need the basics of water, light, nutrients, and space. However, the amount required by each plant depends on how it has been adapted.
A Douglas Fir tree will require more moisture than a cactus. A rice crop requires pools of water to grow, yet wheat and barley would drown in this amount of water.
