ACTIVITY B: Urban Soil Protection

Soil is also important in urban areas. Although most people don't use the soil in urban areas to grow food or livestock, it is still important to us. It nourishes grass and household plants. It feeds urban wildlife, like rabbits and birds. It sustains urban forests and parks. It supports our houses on a firm foundation.
